About Us

Re-Create Social Enterprises Limited is a not-for-profit organisation that was started by Graham Mann and Martyn Rouse in August 2011. We’re an Accredited Service Provider with Suffolk County Council, offering therapeutic work-based activities for learning disabled and disadvantaged people. We’re based in the Riverside Industrial Park, Ipswich but we have additional locations in central Ipswich and Felixstowe.

Our attendees are aged between 16 and 65 and have a broad range of skills and ability.
Our services are accessible and personalised so we meet the needs of individual attendees. Activities encourage skills such as numeracy, literacy, team work, cognitive development, fine motor skills, communication, as well as ‘living skills’ such as cooking and domestic tasks.

Work-based therapeutic activities to encourage and develop ‘skills for work’. Progress is measured through work books, face-to-face reviews and certificates.

Respite Stays
Short-term stays in a safe environment that give carers a break from their caring responsibilities while nurturing the ‘living skills’ of our attendees.

Skills for Life
Vocational learning - Work experience and placements.
Living skills - Activities to encourage and develop domestic skills, including cooking, cleaning / tidying and bed changing.
